wow, it's been a while, hasn't it??

school is going quite well, and all my classes are great. i managed to work an art class into my schedule, and i love it! i just completed a project with graphite shading the other day of my violin... even though it was my first time shading, i think it turned out well... i'll post the photo i used as inspiration eventually... we'll be working with oil and chalk pastels for our next project. i just can't decide which photo to use for that...

band is... band. we've put a lot of hard work into our show, and things are really coming together. we've taken first place in both competitions we've attended. (we didn't compete once because of bad weather) drama club is going well too. we're hosting a halloween-themed coffeehouse for a fall performance. i should probably study my lines... this year, we'll also be doing a musical, "willy wonka". i'm getting excited for auditions. (october 26??)

i'm going to continue to post photos from vacation as well as some others taken recently as time goes on...
